Q: Was the show and charecter "ALF" named after you? If so, what is the story behind it?
A:"ALF" was not named after me. "ALF" stands for Alien Life Form. (By the way, I've been asked that question so many times that my standard reply is: "No, he wasn't named after me, but I granted them the rights to use my face as a likeness! Only kidding")

Q: Was there ever any other name thought of for the show or charecter that were almost used?
A: Not that I'm aware of.

Q: Was there ever any talk of "ALF" looking different? Like a different color or size?
A: Not to my knowledge.

Q: The song that you composed for the show, was it the only one you worked on? Did you compose a few and then it was chosen?
A: It was the only main title theme composed for the show.

Q: Why was the show cancelled after just four years?
A: We still ask the same question. My hunch is that NBC felt that it had enough episodes to syndicate, so it decided to put a new series on in ALF's place.

Q: To this date, have you been informed of any comeback for the show or charecter "ALF"?
A: No news about any comeback.
