The best season?

Which of the 4 seasons do you think is the best one? I’ve only seen season 1 and 2. Or at least they are the ones I remember the most, since I’ve seen them on DVD several times. I don’t remember much at all from the other 2 seasons due to the fact that Swedish television hasn’t had ALF on the air for at least 7-8 years, and that was just for a brief while.

I don’t think I can choose a favourite between seasons 1 & 2. I do however think that season 1 has the most memorable episodes, like The Pilot, La Cucaracha and Don’t It Make Your Brown Eyes Blue etc.

If I had to pick a season it would be season 2 - many of my favorite episodes are from there.

Those episodes are my favorite ones off-hand - my second favorite would be season 1. I also really like seasons 3 and 4 (why wouldn't I) but they just don't compare.

For me, seasons one and two are great. Right now I can't say anything about seasons three and four because I haven't seen them in a very long time. For season one, I really like the rock video episode, the one Willy tries to fix the tv, ALF fights the giant cockroach, and the one where ALF goes "goofy".



For season two, I like the Gilligan's Island tribute, the one in which ALF gets the hiccups, the one Kate dreams ALF is President of the U.S., and the one in which ALF wrecks the house so the Tanners will not move.

The best season was two. His voice was milder and they had that Christmas show which is legendary. I remember even after the series went off the air our local NBC showed the episode around Christmas time for a couple of years.

Actually, ALF's voice was perfected at the halfway point of the first season. In the first dozen episodes, ALF's voice was experimental by Paul Fusco. Season two is the first one where ALF's voice was perfect in every episode.

The voice did not sound the same throughout the whole first season, as it did in season 2, since Paul Fusco experimented with the voice.

I accidentally put this question on my favorite episode thread! oh well. My favorite season is one, because that's where all the classics are (the rock video, the camping trip, alf dresses in kate's clothes in boredom while mrs. ophmonek babysits, alf fights a giant cockroach with a plunger, alf drives and crashes a ferrai, the talking toaster, and ect.), but season two takes 2nd place, because of the many other classics (alf's special christmas, alf gets traps in the ophmoneks house while trying to catch a burglar, meeting jake, kate dreams alf is president, and ect.)

I don't know if I have one favorite season, but season one is defiantly the funniest, because Alf is learning a lot of about earth for the first time. However, one thing that stops me from making that my favorite season is the fact that Alf's voice isn't as cute the first half of the season- it doesn't match his personality as well.

All seasons are good, but the 4th season was not the best, and it didn't have the best ending.
