Michael Jackson passes away at the age of 50

It saddens me to post that yesterday the King of Pop passed away. Michael Jackson died at the age of 50 due to cardiac arrest. After hearing the news I actually had a flashback to the episode "The Boy Next Door". When ALF is coming into the garage just after Jake sneaks in to steal the telescope, ALF is singing Billie Jean. A classic moment indeed. Michael Jackson revolutionized music and will be missed. You have to be talented if you can sell over 100 million copies of one album. Rest in peace.

I still can't grasp the fact that he's gone.

Growing up, Michael was GOD to me. Me and my brother grew up idolizing this man like no other. Our rooms were filled with posters on the wall, we listened to his music all day & night. I even performed as MJ when my kindergarden put up a concert. I still remember my mom letting my brother and me stay up extra late one night when he was performing in Sweden. She felt bad she didn't get us ticets so we saw the concert live on TV instead.

This is heartbreaking news. A part of my childhood died last night.
