Question about the 1987 ALF:the animated series plushes

Post by flynniecat »

Ok so for a bit now I knew there were plushes from the animated series of Gordon,Augie,Rhonda and Rick but for some reason I haven’t seen them online at all or seen physical pictures of them except for the catalog for it (shown below).Did anyone who grew up with ALF saw them in stores at all or had one in the past?

I've seen this photo too and have wondered about it. I wasn't around when ALF was huge, but for all I know, these were never made. It's unfortunate if they were never made, because they would've been the only merch of the three others, not counting the Coleco figures. However, if they were made (which seems unlikely), they must be quite rare or were only on the store shelves for a short while. I'd love to find that Gordon plush (if it was photographed for the catalog, that means there's at least one in existence). For some reason, it looks more on-model compared to the other Coleco plushes. Maybe it's because of the shirt. I hope someone else can elaborate on this :D .

I suspected they were prototypes before I posted this months ago, so I shouldn't had my hopes up so much, but I personally would've loved to get the Rick and Rhonda plushies since they're rarer characters for merchandise, in my opinion. :]

3D printer might be the best way to get one, they can do amazing things nowdays.

Or build one out of Lego, you might make a business out of it !
