The Alf movie offically got the green light I am soo happy! I was reading Google news and it said Sony gave Alf a green light WOOOO!!!!!!!!!!! http://www.nhregister.com/articles/2012 ... 838635.txt

WOW! That is amazing if true, I'd like to read some more sources confirming it before I get my hopes up too much! :D

Very exciting news!!!! and SONY!!!!

wow!

Well done Paul and Linda, and of course ALF for agreeing to appear ;-)

Must come to the USA for the PREMIERE!

I hope the plot will be great, and true to ALF and the fans, but I wouldnt expect anything less for the Fusco's to allow it to go ahead so its just such cool news. I think the Muppets film kinda paved a path for this to happen maybe, and I hope ALF gets as good a reception as they have.

TV will surely follow. I wonder if the film will be the "prequel" on Melmac and then introduce ALF with a new earth family? It'll be interesting to see which way they go. Or maybe even cameos with the Tanners!

Can't wait for more news!

How come no other sites are reporting this? I would understand if it took through the weekend, but it's been a week later and they are still the only ones to report that the project has been given the go ahead.
I'm hoping Paul Fusco gives an interview in the near future to make it more known and maybe even some insight as to what the premise would be.

It's going to happen, hopefully we will get some more info soon, Do they have a script? Are they in preproduction already? Does the movie have a release date? So many questions, so excited! :)

I hope Tyler Perry doesn't go anywhere near this film. Everything that man touches turns into a bad joke.

That's the best news ever!!!! Now then will the movie take place during ALF's time on Melmac and then when he arrives on Earth via the Tanner's garage,or what?
