I had a horrible day, my history class has started the prohibition era one of my favorite times. And it's also something I know quite a bit about, anyway my professor said something that was incorrect, he stated that Bugs Moran was the leader of the North side gang. I politely corrected him and told him the leader of the North side gang back during prohibition was Dean O'banion until the Capone gang took his life in 1924.

He called me out in a very unkind manner, I'm tempted to print off the internet and call him out in front of a full class, like he did me. I'm not that rude so I'm just going to let it go.

twangle's decision to leave is based on conflict/disagreement between him and Forum Administration (some of which you have viewed in topics over the last couple months, some through private message as well).

Although I hate seeing members leave, twangle felt it was for the best...that's all I can really say without getting too deep into the subject. I do want to make it perfectly clear that twangle was not asked to leave; he left on his own.

I wish this had a happier ending, but not all stories end that way...

My car got side swiped today on the interstate when the other car was merging into the lane and I could not get over due to the traffic, no the other bleep did not have sense enough to slow down and wait. No one had been behind him, but still he insisted on driving along. And the real pain in the kicker is he had no insurance, no licence. I'm stuck now to public transportation not that I have an issue with public transportation, I'm just peeved at the fact and I'm sure all you would be.

cuteandfurry,

Having experienced a similar incident in the past, I can well understand your anger over damage to personal vehicle and the inconvenience that you must now endure; however, you also need to be very, very thankful that you did not suffer physical injury resulting from the actions of the non-licensed, uninsured stupid idiot.

Being able to appreciate your good fortune may help in making your misfortune easier to bear.

I've got a few names too...but not exactly appropriate to post here

Also, I'm very glad you weren't hurt! It always seems that the worst drivers don't have insurance...not sure why that is...perhaps it is a reflection of their careless lifestyle?

Thank you so much. I thank the man upstairs that I or he was not injured in the accident, the car was next to new and not fully paid for. I have full coverage so that should take care of of my damages. I'm thankful the situation is being corrected I just don't understand how people can have so little judgement with the fact that others lives are at stake. It could very well have been somone else and the price alot more heavy.

ALFan,

Before becoming too impressed with numbers where a large percentage are "Guests", consider the possibility that many of those "Guests" might actually be "Spammers".

I did consider that. Still, that is a large number even with spammers.
