A suggestion

I've been thinking of ways to promote this forum and this idea came to me. What if we were to make some banners, promoting the forum? A banner is like a picture that you can have as a signature-pic on other forums, they can look like this: http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w185 ... Foley2.jpg . You can also include a URL in the pic so if they click on it it will transfer them to this site.

I'm a member on several forums that I am active on (though this place is what I consider "home"), and I would gladly have a banner to get some interest to this place and I'm sure others would too.

I don't know how to make them myself, it's not my strong-side, but maybe some people here are good with Photoshop and could make some?

Like this? Here's where you can make them. AFTER you make your image there will be boxes on the right side - you want to copy and past the URL in the "Forum Hotlink" box and put it as your signature. You want to CHANGE the beginning URL of what you paste...as that is what the banner is linked to.

Yeah like that, but preferrably a pic of ALF would be even better. I'öö play around with it and see if I get the hang of it!

Any site that allows use of "banner signatures" not pre-screened for approval is risking trouble, since these links have been quickly discovered by the devious as another means for "phishing".
