Re: Your Favorite ALF Quotes
Well I found the episode and unfortunately it wasn't Alf who made mention of Biden, but a candidate on the TV debate the Tanner family was watching.
The candidate says
"As Joe Biden once said, there is nothing to fear but fear itself"

go_cdg,
F.Y.I., Joe Biden likely paraphrased following quote previously made by Franklin Deleno Roosevelt,
"The only thing we have to fear is fear itself."

Just want to make sure everyone gets the joke here... and also why I would cringe every time I heard Joe Biden's name since...
Joe Biden was running for the democratic nomination for the 1988 presidential election.
In September 1987, the campaign ran into serious trouble when he plagiarized a speech by Neil Kinnock, then-leader of the British Labour Party.
Biden defended himself by claiming he had correctly credited the original author in all speeches but one - the one where he failed to make mention of the originator was caught on video. He subsequently dropped out of the race in late September.
Nice of the ALF writers to pick up on this...

Re: Your Favorite ALF Quotes
"Yo Lucky my man!" must be one of the best lines ever, from the pilot. The pilot is definitely one of the best episodes of the show and lots, LOTS of quotes from that episode fits well in this topic.

Re: Your Favorite ALF Quotes
As an ALF fanatic, there are way too many to list...but here's one of my favorites:
From "Someone to Watch Over Me Part 2":
Willie (on the phone with ALF, who is trapped at the Ochmonek's): "ALF wait it's me, it's Willie"
ALF: "Prove it. What's your middle name?"
Willie (Low voice, embarrassed): "Um, Francis."
ALF (making face): "Francis? HAAA.HAAA. Well no wonder you never told me."
I may be 42 but damn I love this show.

Coolpop,
Welcome to the Forum, youngster. FYI, I have personal knowledge of an extreme ALF fan on this Forum who was your current age when he watched the first season of the original ALF TV series.

Re: Your Favorite ALF Quotes
Here's another one:
Willie (to Jake, who's looking over Willie's problematic car): "I think it's the distributor."
ALF: "Well that rules out the distributor."
And another:
Willie: "I thought you gave up on magic, something about being no good at it."
ALF: "Being no good at something is no reason to quit. Ask anyone at the Fox Network."
HAAA.HAAA.
