Re: #3: Looking For Lucky
This episode gets a strong four-star rating from me, meaning more like a 4.5. Best moments in the episodes are:
1. ALF lip synching, á la Tom Cruise in Risky Business.
2. ALF writing the letter to the family; "The only thing murdered today was justice!! Love the whole Fugitive theme of the letter.
Among the better episodes of the season, IMO.

The singing into a cucumber is definitely one of the most memorable moments of the sitcom IMO. My parents do not remember a lot from the show, but that is one scene they never forgot and always laugh about.

This has always been one of my favorites. AxelFoley has pointed out what I would say are the two most memorable moments. I also like the whole scene when ALF is in the pound and makes his escape.

I gave it four stars. It's a really good episode and the lip syncing part is epic!

I like how Lucky's such a great actor/actress in general. It always looks sleepy whenever it should, and lazy, and yet is very nimble and realistic when ALF chases it.

I adore the episode when Alf sings into a cucumber. It is one of my favourite scenes. It is so positive and expressive. And the dialogue that follows the "concert" - phrases about mass destruction and coming back in April are great.

Re: #3: Looking For Lucky
It is episodes like this one that made ALF the immediate hit he became. The one-liners come fast and furious and are top-notch. ALF singing into a cucumber, the deeper-voiced version of him, trying to turn Lucky into a bagel. A classic. One of the five best of the series, a far cry from the tame ALF of Seasons 3 and 4.
The title is actually a play on the 1980 song "Lookin' for Love" by Johnny Lee. The song had appeared in the film Urban Cowboy.

Re: #3: Looking For Lucky
Now that this is at the top of the list, it reminded me of the 'Old time Rock n' Roll' scene! I think that scene is a really defining ALF scene for his character. It shows that he's messy, he's funny, and he has style all at the same time! I agree with NoProblem86, this is really an exellent episode.
Oh Yeah? Well, You're a Wienier!

Poor little cat ! At the beginning of the episode ALF tries to sleep, then to eat. Wilie reminding ALF that cats do not eat but ALF does not hear this gentleman ear goes her head !
Will have, as I look back all seasons because I forget half I remember that small images but not quite the entire episode !

This is one of those episodes that has been burned into my memory. I had it on tape and would watch it over and over!
