Hello from TX

Post by dbdigital57 »

Loved the old ALFer from Day 1. Nothing beats an obnoxious creature and when they hate cats, I'm a supporter.

Shows like this just aren't around anymore. At least they put it out on DVD.

My beloved series "Brooklyn Bridge" has been left in the cold by CBS Productions despite Gary David Goldberg's efforts (see his website).

Glad to be part of the ALF forum!

Welcome to the forum!

I completely agree with you that shows like this are not around anymore. There are very few shows currently airing that I follow regularly...none have been able to compare to my favorite 80s/90s shows (though Bones and Criminal Minds are high on my list).

Welcome! I couldn't agree more. TV-shows today are for the most part pretty terrible, at least the sitcoms of today are. Thank God for DVD's.

"Brooklyn Bridge" was a great show and I wish it had stayed around longer.

ALF didn't "hate" cats, he thought they were delicious. I don't hate cows and lobsters.
