ALF magazine

Post by samstokes80 »

Hey does anybody have any issues of the ALF magazine? It apparently only existed for 8 issues (not even completing a full year run). I would like to put some info about it on the Wiki, so if anybody has them, it would be really cool if you could scan some pictures of the covers.
Thanks!

I am close to completing my collection and will be posting information, including pictures of the covers, eventually. I'm thinking closer to the summer. Stay tuned to the following page and when I get the information up you are welcome to it.

Yes, ALF magazine is different than the comic book series. Here is one of the covers.

The ALF Magazine was not released once a month, only four issues per year, that would make it every three months. The comics are just that, comics. The Magazines are filled with fun stuff such as articles, interviews, trivia, games, pictures and so on. A real treat for the fans.

I just got my first issue of ALF Magazine from a seller on e-Bay! I'm going to try to collect all 8. Unfortunately, some sellers are trying to get 15-20 dollars per issue, but I was lucky enough to get one for 3.99. Hopefully, I can find the other ones as reasonably priced.

Yeah, don't bother with those. Just be patient and reasonably priced magazines will pop up from time to time.

+1

It's taken me over a year to get the ones that I have, and only have one more to go. Definitely not paying an arm and a leg for them (though they are a great read).

Which one are you still needing? I'm in no rush, so I can keep an eye out for you (and not bid against you!)

Does anyone have the Spring 1990 issue?

I have managed to get a cover shot for every issue but Spring 1990 (http://alf.wikia.com/wiki/ALF_Magazine). If anyone has this and can scan it for me, that would be awesome.

Thanks! :D

lol, that was you! Almost thought about trying to outbid you on those :) I was thinking about getting them since they do not have the mailing labels on the front...they look to be in pretty good shape too.

Congrats!

Ha! Good job we didn't get into a bidding war over them!

They do look in good shape, I will have all of them except one of the spring issues but will hopefully pick that up in good time, they are handy for images of ALF. :D

I saw them too, he didn't mention anything about the posters being intact or not, so I didn't bid on them.
