Did anyone else know this existed?

Post by yitz »

Sorry if this has been posted before, but this is just about the most awesome thing I have seen in all my time as a fan. I'm just gonna drop this here and see if anyone has the same reaction I did.

I didn't know Paul Fusco made appearances like this! It's always a treat to hear him without his "ALF voice." I currently am unable to save the video to my computer (I can't figure out how to do it just yet...the mms file is throwing me off, but hopefully I can get this figured out soon and put it up on the YouTube page.

Thanks for sharing!

I have Windows Media Player as well (and that is what I am using to view the video)...can I ask how you saved it in Windows Media Player? I have the new version (and am unfamiliar with it)...there is no "file" and "save as" option...???

Great insider info from Fusco but man, I just had to put my left hand (on my monitor) over that unprepared, pretentious, condescending, smarmy windbag that introduced Fusco! Sorry, I truly cannot tolerate people like that.

Hey. This is so cool!

I'm currently watching it with WMP and at the same time, I am using a program called Total Recorder to make myself an MP3 file for my own personal use.

Would anyone happen to know who the woman was that introduced and was interviewing Paul and Linda Fusco? She mentioned somebody named John who was helping her. Also, she made a mistake on Project Alf. It aired in 1996. She said 1994.

Man, that was pretty painful to watch. That woman didn't know WHAT she was talking about. It was embarrassing. Kudos to Paul for keeping a straight face.

I can't watch it again (because it's so painful) but I'm pretty sure Paul get's frustrated and says something to the guy next to him. Any lip readers want to give this a shot?

This may just be the most insightful interview on the behind the scenes and history of ALF out there coming straight from the man himself. Really enjoyed it. Thanks for posting!

My thoughts exactly! I could almost not believe it when I saw it, I've been holding out for his invite from The Actor's Studio for so long, and while not exactly James Lipton, this is still far closer than anything I've ever seen. 70 minutes later all I could wish for was that it had been longer! If I had been in the audience, they'd still be there answering questions! :)

As for the interviewers, they were clearly not the most knowledgeable on his career, and lord knows how she managed to get the years wrong. I was really miffed by how she kept interrupting him, and insisted on talking and sharing her own views on generic subjects, even when it was clear he had more to say. That's no way to conduct an interview - people aren't there to listen to you!

The interview seems to have been part of a series of interviews/Q&A sessions done with local filmmakers in Litchfield County, Connecticut. I hope they realized what a unique scoop they made - none of the other names ring any bells for me, at least. Paul got a nice blurb, including a more recent picture than the old promo shot we've all seen everywhere - up until this the only photo I'd ever seen of him.

As soon as I get the video this is definitely website worthy material - I'll put up the video, as well as all of biographical information and current photos of Paul and Linda Fusco. Thanks again for your digging and sharing!
