Liz Sheridan Interview!

Post by Admin »

Hi everybody,

Liz Sheridan has agreed to an interview with me, and I would like to start collecting potential questions. Not sure if this will be via email, phone, etc. (whatever she decides is best for her and her schedule).

If you want to post questions in this thread for me to compile that would be great. All I ask is that you avoid questions that are too personal (i.e. one that would make her uncomfortable to answer, or that she would probably decline to answer).

I am very excited that she has agreed to do this! I am currently writing up a response to send to her sometime in the next couple of days.

Thanks!

Excellent news I look forward to seeing the interview with her.

Here are my questions:

Did you have a good time making the show?

Have you seen any of the cast members in recent years?

Did you keep anything from your time on the show?

What's the strangest place you have visited and been asked about ALF?!

many thanks

Mark

One question I want to ask her is about "Ralph." I have heard several times over the years (never any "hard" evidence though) that there was another ALF puppet named "Ralph" that they would use to practice with (so they would not wear out the good puppet). Fact or fiction?

Does she have a favorite episode or scene?

How was a typical taping day for her compared to the rest of the cast because except for a few instances the Ochmonek's rarely interacted with Alf?

Here's one I want to ask and I REALLY would appreciate if this was included

In what months was the show normally in production? (On my season 2 set which is 1987-1988 I watched the last episode produced for season 2 which was "We are family" and the roman numeral in the end credits was MCMLXXXVII which is 1987.)

Based on what has been said about what a "nightmare" it was on set, was a lot of that true? (I'm sure the Ochmoneck scenes usually went fast because ALF was never in them)

I also wonder if she enjoyed doing the show.

Hi Jeremiah,

Great to hear! I still have her email address from a while back when she kindly agreed to mail me some autographed pictures!

Here's my question: How was your relationship with the other actors?

Looking forward to hearing back!

I would of liked to ask her what kind of acting background she had. Because i was always in awe of her as Kate she just seemed so natural. Like she was just making up the dialouge as she was going along Her and Max Wright as well were just so spot on as this so very put-upon couple !
