Found My Alf Puppets

Post by kennetzel »

Back when Alf was on TV in the initial run of the sitcom, Burger King, I believe, came out with four alf puppets, each dressed differently. They came with flexi records that had an Alf rap on them corresponding with the clothing Alf puppet was wearing. I have the records somewhere, but where I don't know right now. But I found the puppets in a bin of old, saved, character plush toys.Image

Hey, I found the records too. I put them on my computer as mp3's. I only played them once...but for some reason the Take Me Out To The Ball Game one sounds real bad. The others are okay though. I have several flexi records, and they actually sound good. Why this one is so bad, Idon't know. I still have the Caleco Alf Doll Rebate Tag on the one, and the others in the bags.

Ken,

If you would ever be willing, I would love to put the MP3s up on the website (and of course give you full credit for them). If not, no biggie...just figured I would "pop the question" :)

Would be very interesting to listen to. I have never come in contact with these vinyls.

I've heard most of them on an ALF Myspace page. Don't have them all in the computer though, so that would be a great thing to have on the website.

Okay everybody, I sent them to both Mark Witherspoon and Jeremiah Eis because they both asked for them. So now it's up to those guys to decide who puts them on their page. Mark said he was thinking of putting them up in September, Jeremiah said since Mark is putting them up, he's not sure he will. So all I can say is wait and see.

Thanks Ken much appreciated.

I think they should go on both sites they are a good fun ALF item that I don't think many people would have heard, be good to give them maximum exposure!

Im going to add them to my site as part of my September updates, over to you Jeremiah :D
