German cassette tapes

Post by spanks_4 »

Anyone know exactly what these cassette tapes are? Are they audio versions of the tv series or something else because of my understanding only 45 tapes were made?

A place where people would definitely know the answer to that is the German ALF Board (http://www.alf-board.de). They won't mind if you post a question in English there, as many people there are fluent in German and English. I've posted there several times and the people there are great...and knowledgeable!

Hey Jeremiah isn't their a program that will automatically translate foreign languages to English and vice versa? I would love to be able to talk with the German collectors, but well I can't read German *yet*, but plan on learning how to very soon.

Yeah a guy at work suggested that. Hopefully someone on that other forum will respond since no one here seems to know or wants to answer.

Well, don't trust the goodle translator, it can come out extremely bad with them not knowing what you're saying. The German language is somewhat backwards in the way they form a sentence.

The Google Translator isn't all that bad. It has allowed communication with a few German sellers so that is all I was after.

I have a friend with some Learn to speak German cd's so hopefully I can learn the language.

Hello,

these tapes contain the original German dialogs with a few cuts, new music and without laughter.
They added a narrator who describes whats going on.

Greetings from Germany!
