Hulu.com

Post by jec2009 »

I emailed hulu.com and asked why ALF season 4 was not on yet, and I got a reply saying the show was not popular enough, so I say we get everyone on this website to email hulu.com and tell them we want more ALF, who's with me!!!!!!!

Good detective work! What I can do for my part is put a link on the main page of the website...something along the lines of "Watch ALF Online at Hulu.com!"

Maybe that'll draw a few hundred people to Hulu.com each month? I'm not sure if that would make a difference as far as getting season 4...but it might be worth a shot?

If you don't see it on the main page of the website within 1 week just slap me or send me a rude private message so it gets done

CORRECTION:

"Syndicated" episodes appear on hulu.com with the exception of the the two part "Special" episodes which I believe are still the original, uncut episodes.

Ahhh, thanks.

Oh well, I'll just stick to recording the full eps that air here instead of waiting for hulu to open to the world.

I'm hoping this thread doesn't turn into a thread to "pressure" people to buy the DVD sets...

Nah, there's been no region 4 release of the sets. Best thing I could find was an Aussie site that sold other region dvds.

So for now, I'll just keep recording the eps on cable each day, they're uncut so at least that's a bonus.

The DVD sets would play on your computer DVD player (as computer DVD players are region free I believe) so it wouldn't matter where you are in the world if you used a computer to watch some (some don't like to do that though)...does anyone remember the post where we were discussing that? I forget...

I'm sure you'll enjoy your tapes though, I really enjoy mine!

Yeah, I remember you telling me that, but I couldn't sit infront of the computer to watch them lol can't think of anyting more uncomfortable.

I'm actually recording them on dvd, but I know what you mean, getting those extra 3-4 minutes is great. I've seen the episode runtimes on the dvds and they're terrible. I'm finding the orginals run at well over 24:30 most of the time.

If I was to get the dvds, however, it would be purely for the menus.

Lucky-ftw,

On what Australian TV station are you watching ALF reruns? Out of curiosity, would like to check if the Australian TV station may have a website on which there might be mention of airing ALF reruns.
