The guy helping Kate with the groceries is the Tow Truck Driver that towed back Kate/Willie's car. Lynn is on the phone, and is upset because she won't be able to borrow the family car to go see "The Pretenders" in concert.

It is a first season episode called "Baby You Can Drive My Car"

Jeremiah, I am thinking that the tow truck driver was only shown in the orginal uncut episodes? This scene is not in the the syndicated version.

Here is my line for this picture.

Tow Truck Driver: Woah lady, these groceries are very heavy, I may need to go to the doctor for an x-ray.
