Post by ALFicionado »

Hi! How many Alf comic books was made? Here in Sweden, there are 6 issues from the year 1988, 12 issues of 1989, and 6 issues of 1990. Is that all that was made or are there more?

AxelFoley,

Personally, I never got into ALF comic books, so I know next to nothing; however, I did find folllowing website address that lists all ALF comic books that were published by "Marvel Comics" here in the USA.

http://www.comics-db.com/pages/Marvel_C ... index.html

Hope this information helps to answer your question.

Damn! That's a lot more than what we have here in Sweden and that pisses me off! How am I suppose to get all of those without a VISA? :(

So, you don't like the comic books? I think they're great! :)

AxelFoley,

I like everything about ALF (including comic books), but primarily a freak about ALF as a TV star.

I was pretty excited to get the first ever issue of the ALF comic book series by Marvel. I have quite a few issues and I think it's awsome that they created ALF comics because it adds more adventure to ALF. There's more stories and it almost feels like a new episode of ALF was created. Does anybody have the ALF cartoon books which are pretty much like the Garfield books? They were published by Checkerboard Press in 1987. I have ALF Sounds Off and ALF Speaks Out. If anybody knows, was there anymore published?

Here are ALL the ALF Marvel Comics released in the United States

#1-50 (they ran from 1988-1992)

ALF Annual #1, 2, 3 (1988-1990)

ALF Holiday Special #1, 2 (1988-1989)

ALF Spring Special #1 (1989)

ALF Vol. 1 (1990)-this was a graphic novel features the first three issues of ALF reprinted; as well as "Carrot Cards"

PS: I pity anyone who wasn't "into" ALF comics, because they were/are VERY good. Very smartly written and they stand up nicely now.
