Summer Plans?

Well, summer is right around the corner! Quite a few people take vacations and things of that sort during this time of year.

So, I'm just wondering - anybody here at the forum have any vacation plans?

Admin,

Retired people do not get time off for vacations, and we also don't get time off for Holidays or weekends, so my Summer plans are pretty much the same as Fall, Winter, and Spring plans. HA!!

Well my summer got booked yesterday. I am going to 2 Red Sox games, and I am going to Nascar racing in Loudon New Hampshire in July and September. Also my girl friend graduates from college in early June.

Excuse me, but I am confused by what appears to be a possible contradiction that I noted to appear in your recent posts. In this Forum, under this Topic, on May 13, you posted, "....Also my girlfriend graduates from college in early June."

Congratulations to your girlfriend; however, in ALF Sitcom Forum, under "Mrs. Ochmonek autograph!!" Topic, you posted today (May 14), "I found it my wife moved it. Argh!"

If you do have both girlfriend and wife, no doubt you are in for a very interesting Summer, which could potentially also be quite dangerous.

Now I'm in for a busy summer! I just added a musical to my calendar (I will be playing in the pit orchestra) - I was also recently asked to teach/coach low brass at a summer band camp...plus I perform in 2 bands and work part time at a grocery store. I also have to perform for one more musical (I think) and finish up on some wedding plans. Not to mention I start student-teaching at an area middle school and high school in August - AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Looks like I'm off somewhere and won't have a single day to myself until June 19th...assuming I don't schedule anything else (and after that I don't think I'll have another day off for months...not even a day on a weekend). I'll be busy and stressed, but at least I'm doing something that I enjoy (plus the money is good during the summer lol).

I hope you post some pictures!!! I'll try to remember to post a few in December as well. I told me brothers that the day of the wedding I want to relax and watch ALF all morning...may I suggest the same for you.

That's pretty close to my neck of the woods - if you go you should swing through Wisconsin on the way so we can meet somewhere for lunch

Wow, that would really be great! Although unfortunately we wouldn't be passing by Wisconsin. You see, I live in California, and I would be flying to Minneapolis. But thanks for your exciting offer!

Oh well...maybe if you "accidentally" had to get a flight through Green Bay (lol, just kidding). I might be traveling to Minnesota this summer, to see some family (in Minneapolis), also. If I may ask, what part of Minnesota are you going to?
