My damaged ALF DVDs!

Post by Admin »

Well, this has been quite a week!

First off, I borrowed my season 1 DVD set to my friend, who has two children, because he figured it would be a nice show for them to watch. Well, turns out his kids love the show and can't get enough (YAY!) - he returned my DVDs to me the other day ALL SCRATCHED UP!!! I haven't noticed any skips thus far, but I am still quite irritated.

Also, today I noticed that one episode on my season 3 DVD set (on disc 3 to be exact) does not work! I'm going to e-mail Lions Gate Ent. in the morning so they can send me a replacement.

ARGHHHHHHHHH!

Admin,

Possible that Lions Gate may supply replacement, but legally it is actually the source of purchase which is responsible for any claim.

I bought it off Amazon.com which makes returns more difficult (and takes quite a bit of time) so I figured I'd contact Lions Gate first (worth a try anyways).

Out of curiosity, what episode was it?

Too bad to hear about the DVD's, those things are a pain.

I'd have to check what episode it was...can't remember off-hand.

Amazon.com said "no" to exchanging it. My reply was, "sorry that I am unable to watch an entire DVD set, containing 28 episodes, in 30 days...some of us work!"

For some reason I am unable to find a contact number for Lions Gate...I'm going to look on the back of my DVD set and see what I can do from there.
