Project: ALF coming to Blu-ray in North America!

It was announced about a month ago but I thought I would share it here.

A company by the name of Liberation Hall is releasing Project: ALF for the first time in wide screen high definition on Blu-ray this Tuesday, June 13th!

I have read an early review of the Blu-ray which praises the visual presentation as very impressive which has me excited. I also seen screen shots of the Blu-ray and it looks significantly better than the DVD. Keep in mind, the DVD is presented in full screen format and this Blu-ray will be the first time the movie has been released in wide screen format in the US.

The Blu-ray will also include three bonus features. The first is a photo gallery and the second is a commentary on the film by Paul Fusco. Is this the same commentary included on the VSC DVD? That remains to be discovered. The third feature is promotional trailers for the movie.

I will be ordering the Blu-ray as I think its a worthy upgrade for just $14.99. What do you think, ALF fanatics?
