Series 3 intro
This has been bugging me. Right at the very end of the intro (Alf is playing the sax) where do the two floating feathers come from?
I don't want to be an orphan. I saw "Annie." Orphans have to eat gruel and tap dance with mops.

Wow, you have a sharp eye! I had never noticed that before!
I'm guessing the feathers came from pillows or cushions from the furniture on the set. The air circulation in a house can keep those little things floating around for a long time. Often they are very hard to see, but I'm guessing that the lighting used on the set made them more visible.

So the old wives' tale is wrong - it doesn't make you go blind.

Hmmm, I'll need to keep an eye on this the next time I watch the intro. I have never noticed it before.

Re: Series 3 intro
Was watching a Season 4 episode last night (it has the same intro as Season 3), and yeah I had never noticed the feathers, but kept my eye out this time. Really interesting you picked up on that. We need to do a little investigative report, much like the case when Lucky went missing. I can see it now, bringing a feather up to Paul Fusco..."EXHIBIT A!"
