Pilot Episode-Asparagus Episode-Camping Episode-Cockroach Episode-Terry Faith episode-ALF sells gold for car Episode

I would say these are my favorites. Probably not exactly in this order--I just listed them as they came to me. I think Season 2 was probably the best in the ALF series.

You're not very good with episode titles, are you? I'm the same with most shows.

Not in any particular order (I was just looking down the list of threads in this sub-forum):

La Cucaracha
It Isn't Easy Bein' Green
I've Got A New Attitude
A Little Bit of Soap
Mother And Child Reunion
On The Road Again (probably my ultimate favourite in this series)
Don't It Make Your Brown Eyes Blue

That's a lot of favourites. XD

"Strangers in the Night"
-My brothers and I used to recite large portions of this episode, particularly the phone calls between ALF and Willie.
ALF: Hello
Willie: ALF, why are you answering the phone?
ALF: I live here!
Willie: Where's Mrs. Ochmnoek?
ALF: She lives next door!

"Help Me, Rhonda"
I love the Melmac scenes in ALF's dream. The only glimpse we get to see of it on the live-action show.

"I've Got a New Attitude"
The seance scene is just hilarious.
Dorothy: You don't have to make rude noises!
ALF: That's okay, I don't mind.

"The Gambler"
Kate: Is Nick "the Fish" a violent man?
Dorothy: Yes, but he's fair.

"Weird Science"
This one has a consistent build of humor up until the climactic point when Consumer Ed suddenly shows up.
I think my favorite scene is when Mrs. Lyman shows up and Willie has an awkward conversation with her, after ALF called Brian's teacher pretending to be Willie.
Willie: What if there were no explorers, no dreamers? Would Galileo have sailed around the world?
Mrs. Lyman: Galileo didn't sail around the world.
Willie: . . . never mind.

(excuse the paraphrases)

Most shows have such a rocky first season, but to me ALF's first two seasons were it's strongest. Picking my favorites for this one is a piece of cake, because I watch them over and over with my DVD and iPhone.

-A.L.F. (It's the Pilot, so I think by law it needs to be on my list since it's the first time we are introduced to our furry pal.)

-Strangers in the Night (Love the music in this one, as well as the great narrative ALF gives and the overall vibe of the episode.)

-On the Road Again (What's not to love about camping with our favorite Melmacian?)

-Lookin' Through the Windows (Like Strangers in the Night, I just really like this episodes vibe.)

-Come Fly with Me (ALF's obsession with the talking toaster = priceless.)

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned "Looking for Lucky." The part where ALF imitates the Risky Business dance is classic. There's many other episodes in this season that I love so I'll just list a couple. I love the pilot episode because it gives us a great introduction to ALF and I love the "Wild Thing" episode because of ALF's crazy behavior and cat chasing.
ALF: I had a cousin. Pretty Boy Shumway. If he didn't like your shoes...
[imitating gun sound] "ak-ak-ak-ak-ak."
Willie: He'd shoot a person because he didn't like his shoes?
ALF: No. He'd just point at you and go, "Ak-ak-ak-ak-ak."

Yeah, actually I'm surprised I didn't mention it. When I was a kid, I think it was my favorite one.
