I really don't quite get the humor of this video, but wasn't there an episode where ALF mentioned something about taking rides in the dryer?

I remember! It's when Kate confronts Dorothy about trying to run things at the Tanner house and Kate tells her that as long as she's at their house that she'll have to follow some rules. Dorothy asks "what rules?" and ALF says "no going for rides in the dryer" and lists a couple of other rules. They tell ALF that those rules only apply to him, and he says, "no fair, why does she get to go for rides in the dryer?"
