I don't remember if it was ever posted here at the forum but I thought I should bring this up since it sort of has to do with ALF. I was watching the Celebrity Roast of Bob Saget last night and at the end when the credits started to roll it came up on the screen stating: "In memory of Bernie Brillstein". A lot of you probably and should recognize that name. Bernie Brillstein was an Executive Producer on ALF for a lot of episodes and also for a lot of other major TV shows. His name is pretty much the first one to pop up on the screen for the closing scene credits. He passed away in August of 2008 at the age of 77. I know it's really late but I just found out about this last night so I thought I'd share. R.I.P. Bernie

Re: Bernie Brillstein
I believe I started a thread about his passing back in 2008. I'm sure you'll find it if you look hard enough. It was sad indeed.

Re: Bernie Brillstein
There was a thread for a very short time.

Still sad news...
Good idea to bring this back up, I really don't think that it received a lot of views/attention (even from me) the first time around.

Here's a great article on Bernie. I guess he was the real deal.

Re: Bernie Brillstein
He was amazing, what with ALF and Jim Henson he has probably done more for puppets on TV than anyone elsehaynese wrote:Here's a great article on Bernie. I guess he was the real deal.
