ALF at Wal-Mart!

Post by Admin »

I was at Wal-Mart recently, and noticed that they carry the first three seasons of the ALF sitcom on DVD. I got WAY excited (my wife thought I was weird)...there was also a price drop (down to $15 if I remember correctly) so that should mean some good sales for these DVD sets.

If you do not own the first three seasons, that might be a good place to go and get them at a good/decent price.

Just wanted to share...

I'm guessing by your reactions they haven't been available on Wal-Mart before? How come they haven't?

They were at Wal-Mart (for probably around $25-30) when they first came out. This is the first time I have seen more than 1-2 DVD sets available at Wal-Mart at a time, AND at a good price! I guess I'm excited that the low price, and wider availability, will encourage people to buy the DVD sets.

Wow, that is a great price. You are lucky in the US, here in Australia they are available on eBay for around $30-50 a season. Needless to say I haven't yet bought any of them... also on region 1 they wouldn't even play on all my dvd players.

ALF fans in Canada,
If you are still looking for ALF DVD's, head to HMV, Future Shop or Cd Plus. I have spotted seasons at these locations in the past month. Reasonable prices as well!

I just bought seasons 1 and 2 at CD Plus for 15.99 a set. No Seasons 3 or 4 anywhere to be found though. :(

The Best Buy stores around here carry all 4 seasons. I just wish I could find a sealed copy of Alf Files.

I think alf should hit up franchises like wal-mart to market himself. I think if he starts out on a few T-shirts or puts his face on a bag or something, people may be interested in buying it if its put out there correctly. Nowadays people are like robots. all it takes is for one person to start the trend and the others follow.
