It's official: Season 4 set now missing 2 episodes

I got my season 4 DVD today, and as I feared, my set did miss those 2 episodes we've been discussing in another thread.

These are the episodes that are featured on each disc:

Disc 1:

Great, what the hell am I supposed to do now? I can't find any info onhow to contact Lions Gate either. My weekend is officially shot to hell.

That was the Canadian release, Maple Pictures. This was the American version.

Makes me want to open my two sealed copies of season 4 to check it out.

I still think that someone found the answer. I will do some research tonight Anders and see what I can find.

Googling haven't helped at all. This seems to be a new problem with newly maufactured DVD's. How the hell can one company screw so many things up? This is unacceptable.

I think you'll only need to open one of your DVD's if you bought them at the same time.

Also, another thing that bothered me is that my DVD didn't come with shrinkwrap around the slipcase cover, only a small seal on top of the keepcase. All my other DVD's came in shrinkwrap that I still have wrapped around the slipcase.

Yeah mine came the exact same way, but no damage to the cases at all.

1. It says Lions Gate at the bottom right corner on the back of the box. The address is also listed as Lions Gate, 2700 Colorado Avenue, Santa Monica, California 90404
2. UPC number is: 0-3139820121-2
3. "It's My Party" and "Make 'em Laugh"

Hey Jeremiah can you post what the full episode list is supposed to be? I am betting both of mine are missing episodes also.

Also, does the American version (that didn't have missing episodes when first released), have the 2 episodes I Gotta Be Me & When I'm Sixty Four listed twice like mine does?

Uh, I got a responce now from an email I sent by chance (the online store, I didn't even buy me DVD from there so I thought they'd ignore me) and I got this responce:

Dear Consumer,

Thank you for contacting the Lionsgate Customer Service Department.
Please send your disc (disc only is fine) to the below address. Once received we can send you your replacement.
(US address only)

What do they mean with "US address only"?! They won't ship my replacement disc to ME who live OUTSIDE the US?!?!

Well ain't that just fine & dandy? I sent them a question wondering what they have in mind since that won't work. I also asked if they have heard of this problem before and if they have replacement discs ready to ship, since it took more than a while last time around with the Maple Pictures release.

I have a more recent American copy that has all episodes and in broadcast order. Except it has no slipcase. I think all seasons were re-issued with no slipcases recently to save on packaging and with all the editing errors fixed.

It might be worth you trying to send it back where you got it for a refund and trying to buy from a batch elsewhere since Lionsgate don't ship replacements internationally (as these are meant to be USA only discs). The UPC's across all of season 4 are the same, there is coding on the inside of the disc though.

This may be a solution. If you ship the DVD back to them, you can give them MY address as the return address. I could then ship the DVD to Sweden. If this is something that you would be interested in just let me know...

Have just started going through each set checking episodes - you might want to check your season 3's as Stairway To Heaven is missing off mine. Canadian Maple Version but don't have the US version here to check that one.

That would be great Jeremiah! I'm still waiting for a responce on my last letter though, been over an hour and a half now. Don't know what time it is in California either, maybe they've closed for the weekend? Bummer if so.

And Gordo, my season 3 set has Stairway To Heaven, I watched it just a couple of nights ago.

Good point Jermiah, yes Canada would have different UPC. Anders UPC matches up with my USA version though - same, even though my episode layout is different.

It seems to be the Canadian S3 that just has the missing episode from that series then. They really made a mess of this of all this, jeez.
