Speaking of collections, I think it would be awesome if they made a book that is a guide to all ALF merchandise! It could give a little information on the item, say how rare it is, and if its bootleg or not. :D

I think an alf collector's book would be really awesome too, good way to keep track of all the alf stuff out there. :)

Here's some more of my ideas:
* They could make a life size ALF doll/toy that talks and moves, kind of like those fur-real pets,
* build-a-bear could do a make your own ALF promotion like they did for alvin and the chipmunks,
* Food companies could do ALF advertising by making special versions of their foods that claim to be made of cat (chicken noodle soup changed to cat noodle soup  ),

And, of course, they'll probably make new ALF halloween costumes.

Oh dear God, if they made Alfs in the style of FurReal pets I'd have to buy multiples. I already collect these types of things. An Alf version would be the best thing since Tiger Electronics. made the Gizmo Furby. And I haven't been to Build a Bear in months but if they did a make your own Alf promotion I'd definately have to go and make two or three.

It would be really cool if they remade some of the older ALF plush with retro-remake packaging. They could use the same patterns for the dolls, and fade the original packaging to give it the 'retro' appearance.

It's a pretty cool idea but I'm not sure how easy it would be to do. Coleco probably owns the rights to the pattern for the original Alf plush and the design for the packaging and Coleco doesn't even exist anymore. They'd probably have to track down whoever has the rights to Coleco's stuff and pay to use the original designs. There's a lot of wierd legal hoops you have to jump through to do anything like that.

yeah, you got a point there, since the company no longer exists, everything from that company is probably destroyed by now, but it can't be that hard to make alf plushie like that.
