What have they done to ALF's voice!!!!!???

Post by melmacian56 »

I was scanning through Youtube today and found this Latin American ad for ALF on Nickelodeon. WHAT HAVE THEY DONE TO HIS VOICE!!!??? It sounds TERRIBLE. It makes ALF sound like he's a monster! Almost reminds me of the voice for the Cookie Monster lol.
Anyways, here's the link if you want to see what I'm talking about:

You'd think they would find an actor with a voice at least CLOSE to that of Paul Fusco...

I think that was pretty funny, and if I were Spanish speaking, I would get used to it quite quickly if I hadn't heard Paul Fusco's voicework.

Though the clip isn't there anymore I'd say the first voice you remember hearing for a character you enjoy would be more enjoyable. Especially seeing how you're probably use to Paul being the only voice for ALF. Different strokes, for different folks.
