ALF Chat Night - Saturday 1/31/09 at 6:00pm Central Standard Time!!!

The forum clock is set to "Central Standard Time" (I am from Wisconsin, so it is set to my time zone).

Steps you want to take to make sure that you are here at the correct time.

1) Log into your "User Control Panel"
2) Select "Board Preferences"
3) Make sure your timezone is set to "UTC - 6 Central Standard Time"
4) Return to the index page of the forum (http://www.alftv.net/community) - when that clock hits 6:00pm on 1/31/09 click on the "CHAT" button in the menu bar, we'll be waiting!

If you are a non-member/guest browsing the forum, you can still participate! When you click on "CHAT" you will need to put in a username, no password needed, and you will be able to join us! If you are a registered member, please log in prior to clicking on the chat link. Thanks!

NOTE: I will be sending out an email to all forum members, and posting on the main page of the website, sometime tomorrow. I want to make sure I'm not leaving out any important info first (basically, answer initial questions, update my post with those answers, then email everybody).

Quick Question:How long are the chat nights?

There's only a set start time. Everyone is welcome to stay as long as they like. Could be an hour...could be three hours?

I just sent out a mass email to all forum members, so that's almost 200 people who will know about the chat night. I will also be sending an email to my mailing list (another 50 people, some are members here though). I'm hoping we'll have a decent turnout!

So far I am aware of 4-5 people who are coming...with the people I don't know about, it should be a very good turnout!

That is good comparing it to the last three chats we had.According to the Chat Log there was only about three people at those.

Yeah, breaking the old record shouldn't be a problem. The reason we stopped the chat nights here is because of the lack of participation...BUT, the forum did not have nearly as many members, especially active members, as it does now. I'll be happy to see at least see the turnout double, and then I will definitely consider scheduling chat nights on a regular basis (monthly or bi-monthly, something along those lines).

Admin,I know this would be VERY,VERY,VERY slim,but next time you can get in contact with Paul Fusco,can you invite him to one of our Chat Nights? That would be awesome! Although,I don't know if he would come. If you invited him,would he want to come?
