I'd give an edge to the saxophone theme as well. It had a great air about it.

In "Wanted: Dead or Alive," what does Alf rather foolishly write on the box he's hiding from Kate under?

The way it shouldn't go is the route the afformentioned films of these types seem to endlessly do, that Alf would lose all of his endearing qualities in exchange for doing just sick humor, and Willie would be a workaholic deadbeat with no time for family--the absolute antithesis of what he really is...

I'll believe this more readily when I hear something more concrete. Since making sitcoms into films is all they want to do these days, I'm sure someone is planning something, but to be even remotely watchable for me, it would have to include more or less the orignal creative team and a genuinely ori...

show promos

Did anyone here manage to record any of the promos of the show NBC would run to promote each episode? Or, for that matter, by some remote chance any of NBC's seasonal "Come Home to NBC" (or in the last 2 seasons, "Come Home to the Best...Only on NBC") promos? And if so, does Alf ...

One thing that's been interesting me for a while: could there possibly be a connection between our Tanners and the Full House Tanners? That might have been an interesting thing to play off of if they'd gotten cooperation from ABC. They go up to San Francisco to visit for the weekend, Alf stows away ...

Just went the other day and thoroughly enjoyed it. I recommend it for others heavily. On a related note, I could imagine Alf in the midst of the rebellion, blowing up everything in sight and taunting any imperial officers that are listening with bad jokes about them. Perhaps this could be a future p...

I got Season 1 of Night Court about 2 months ago, and it looks great.

Other sitcoms I like include Get Smart, Taxi, and Sledge Hammer (!). My favorite dramas include Monk, Due South, and lately Numb3rs. And if it's a game show, I'll like it.

Yes, that's exactly it. If my memory serves me correctly, the title was simply to the extent of "Cartoon Stars to the Rescue" or something along those lines (it may have been titled differently in translation to other countries). If I remember, Alf at one point blackmails a laconic (as usu...

On that note, I've noticed that the theme(s) seems to have been reorchestrated for synidcation. Would anyone know why this would be altered as well (perhaps along the same overall guidelines, sincei t seems to be a bit shorter in synidcation)?

I'm sure something'll pop up at one point or another (too bad we can't call Doc Brown and take a little trip into the future to see, though). I think Paul Fusco'll keep finding something for the character until he dies (hopefully later than sooner). Perhaps if the rest of the cast feels up to it, th...

I think dwindling ratings were the primary reason for NBC pulling the plug. Plus, I read that the writers were starting to run out of fresh ideas. I haven't really heard anything about what they might have come up with for a 5th season had they been able to go through with it.
