DVD Releases

In August 2004, season one of ALF came out on DVD. Then in August 2005, season two came out. I like to ask this question. Why does it take so long for a season of ALF to come out on DVD? :(

It is highly unlikely that Disney will ever buy the rights to ALF.

Out of all the scenes that were deleted in the syndicated versions, I wish they left the ALF dreaming of him talking to his friends in the episode "Help Me Rhonda". After looking at it, you could tell there's something more to it. Let's hope they bring back the original version on DVD.

Paul Fusco gives the commentary along with someone else. I haven't seen the movie since September 13th. But they talk about how NBC let them down by not letting them make the conclusion to the episode "Consider Me Gone". They talk about the actors. They even about the talk show that ALF ha...

In a Friday the 13th - ALF related topic, did you know that that the guy wanting a screwdriver for $800 in the ALF horse race gambling was Bob Larkin, the guy who played the caretaker in Friday the 13th Part VI - Jason Lives.

What I would like for future DVD releases

What I would like for future DVD releases such as season 3 or 4 is a cast reunion featurette of the Tanner family.

I also like a featurette of Paul Fusco talking about the series and explaining why the syndication episodes were used and not the original broadcasts.

Favorite Season One and Season Two episodes

What's your favorite season one and season two episodes? I don't remember seasons 3 or 4 very well and they're not available on DVD. For the first season, I would pick the rock video episode, when ALF loses his memory, and the one ALF helps Brian with his science project. For season two, I like the ...

I would lean toward the seasons 1 and 2 theme more. Seasons 3 and 4 are okay though.

Uncut or not, I was thrilled when season two of "ALF" came out on DVD. After year, I'm ready for anything. I'v got a weird story. On the day Bob Denver died, I saw the Gilligan's Island Tribute episode.

On September 13th, I got my Project ALF DVD. The commentary was pretty good. By the way, did you know that Jensen Daggett was in "Friday the 13th Part VIII - Jason Takes Manhatten". Also, I've seen Wiliam O'Leary on Home Improvement.

High, I'm new to this website. I've been a fan of ALF. When I was a kid, I remember watching "ALF" Monday nights. ALF is a classic. They don't make shows like this anymore.
