If There was an ALF Movie

First off, would you be for or against ALF coming to the big screen? If you're answer is that, yes, you'd like to see an ALF movie, what kind? So many films based on established characters start the story all over again: like the old Muppet movies, or more recently "Alvin and the Chipmunks"...

Re: Hello from TX

"Brooklyn Bridge" was a great show and I wish it had stayed around longer.

ALF didn't "hate" cats, he thought they were delicious. I don't hate cows and lobsters.

Re: ALF Memorabilia

If you mean marchantcards.com they are great people to deal with, so you're fifteen dollars will be safe with them and you will be pleased with the purchase. Unless otherwise stated all their items are in mint condition. Thanks to them--and a comic shop dealer named Bill--I have every original Topps...

Re: if Season 5 was Made?

I would have liked the last episode of season 4 to have been a dream, because I didn't like the idea of the government getting a hold of the old ALFer. The Marvel comics series ended ALF with #50. In that, he decided to finally bit the bullet and reveal himself to the world. What ended up happening?...

Re: ALF script categories

My guess would be that the mimeo draft and the revised mimeo draft are something like rough drafts before the final shooting script is written.

Re: 2011 ALF TV Summer Giveaway!

Thanks for doing this again. It was fun three years ago and I am sure it will be fun now. I would love to get an ALF script or the official mug. Last time I won Season 1 and I have enjoyed it thoroughly since. ALF is awesome!

Re: What show did you watch after ALF?

There were shows after ALF? ALF went off in 1990 and about that time television, in my view, went down the drain and has never come back. I lived on repeats of "The Facts of Life", "Munsters", "The Brady Bunch", "Growing Pains", "Little House on the Prair...

ALF Memorabilia

Before the internet, collectibles were affordable. Now everyone on eBay wants to get top dollar, but you can still find some bargains. If you are looking for ALF memorabilia remember: time is essential. The older ALF gets the more collectible his items are going to be and even non-ALF fans will begi...

Re: The best season?

I guess it's somewhat speculation. However, the episode aired and then that summer Burger King came out with the records. If I'm not mistaken, they used clips of "You're the One Who's Out of This World" in the ads. Thanks for the correction on the episode name. Since most of the programs a...

Re: The best season?

I'm going to agree with most everyone here and say ALF Season 2 is the best. Most of my favorite episodes are there-- WORKING MY WAY BACK TO YOU-When ALF becomes Mr. Belvedere to prove he can be trustworthy and contribute to the house. I didn't like this as a kid. They promoted as "the new ALF&...

Re: Who Was Your Favorite Cast Member (Except For ALF)

It's hard to respond to this. Obviously, Willie and ALF were the comedy team, for the most. Lynn wasn't glamourous, but she was pretty and an all-American teenage girl. Katie was the sensible one with lines like: "Do I think it's a good idea to leave our son with an alien from outerspace who wi...

Thanks folks, because it has been such a long interval from when I was here last it's hard for me to comment on how things are going. God is good and I am happy. That's the best summation I can give.

How to Contact

I apologize if this is (A) not the place to ask this question or (B) a question that has already been asked. However, lately I was wondering if there are reliable addresses for the cast members of the ALF TV series. Some years ago (2003, I believe) I was happy to get Paul Fusco's autograph, but I wo...

Re: How many watched during the original run?

I was 12-years-old in 1986 and ALF was right up my alley. I got in on the Marvel comics, the Topps trading cards, and the cartoon spin-offs. I was also thrilled when the ALF Christmas Special (1987) hit #7 for the week in primetime. Prior to that ALF had mostly been in the Top 20.

Back After Being Gone a Long While

Hi, I'm not new here, but it's been awhile. My username, ALFSince86, refers to the fact that I have been an ALF Fan from the beginning. I was 12-years-old in 1986 and enjoyed the wave of ALF television, cartoons, comics, the Fan Club, and toys. I still love ALF today and wish they would make a TV Re...

Re: ALF will be on WGN Tomorrow Night

That would be cool. They are also showing/have shown "Family Ties" and "Cosby Show". At least someone at WGN, when they think of 1980s television thinks of those three shows (I'm including "ALF"). It restates how terrifically popular he was during those years.
