Re: ALF Doll value

eBay is a great source for learning what items are selling for. Stay away if you're looking for the value of something - like if you're trying to establish how much a collection is worth. But if you'd like to know what to sell something online for, check "closed" or "completed" a...

Re: The official thread for pictures of your ALF collections

This postcard was sent, in bulk, to all of the NBC affiliates that were running ALF so they could be put in the lobby or sent to local advertisers... that type of thing. They were fairly common before ALF premiered and much tougher to find afterwards. I'm pretty sure there are still a lot out there....

Re: The official thread for pictures of your ALF collections

Here are uncirculated "just off" covers from the two ALF humor books; ALF Speaks Out! and ALF Sounds Off! If you look, they are a bit off. This what you get at the beginning of a print run until they have everything set just right. They also don't have that finished "shine" to th...

As long as they were uncut, I'd buy both animated series on DVD or BD too.

Re: The official thread for pictures of your ALF collections

If no one minds, I'm going to dig out some of my other goodies and post them. Some are one-of-a-kind and I think they're pretty cool. But I'm in the process of a 6 month move from North Miami to Deerfield Beach and to say my "stuff" is in a bit of a logistical uproar would be a huge unders...

Re: The official thread for pictures of your ALF collections

The cel came autographed and inscribed in 1989 and I had it matted and framed. It has been proudly displayed, along with our other animation art, in our homes ever since. It's from the ALF-Tales episode; The Elves And The Shoemaker.

I have some ALF items - not so much a collection - that I'll be happy to post a little at a time.

Here's the first:

Re: A Thanksgiving Tale

There were actually six holiday specials that aired on Showtime in the early 80s that a group of folks who went on to work on ALF produced. The specials were: The Crown Of Bogg (Halloween) A Thanksgiving Tale Santa's Magic Toy Bag The Valentine's Day That Nearly Wasn't An Easter Story Carl's Far-Out...
