There is a commentary? I picked up the DVD at half price books a couple weeks back but I have yet to really even look at it because I watched it on VHS not long ago. Hmm. I will check it out and get back to you.

As I stated in a different topic on Project ALF, I think the main thing the movie was missing was the Tanners. The characters in Project ALF seemed so bumbling. I think thats a word, LOL. My point here is that if you watch the old show, ALF is not the smart character. Not to say that he is dumb thou...

This just in. Apparently ALF has contacted the police. He is demanding that 30 pizzas be delivered to the office building he is hold up in. He is also demanding to speak to Oliver Stone in hopes to make a movie about as he put it "the conspiracy to keep me off the air". ALF has previously ...

"Disgruntled over his unfortunately failed attempts to return to television, ALF takes to the balcony of an office building with a high powered rifle. His primary target seems to be anyone driving a car with a license plate containing the letters N, B, and C. Police are baffled. SWAT team is pr...

Wow, I had never realized that the opening dinner sequence was originally in the aired version. If I recall correctly, and I was only 6 at the time, my mom and I had just got home and ran to hit record on the vcr for this "new show called ALF" and the first scene I remember from that tape ...

As I said in another post a while back, I'd still like to see what life would have been like if ALF had crash landed into the garage of the Bundys of Married with Children. Whether people want to admit it or not, that, so far anyway, has been the most realistic family on TV. They were exagerated of ...

I agree. The aired version was much better and smoother in the long run. I think the network execs made the right choice there. Just curious as to everyones thoughts on the matter.

Pilot VS. Unaired Pilot

For those of you (I'm assuming most on this board) that have seen the unaired pilot episode on the first season dvd set, I was just curious as to your thoughts on it. For those who don't know, this unaired pilot is not too different from the aired version. Mostly a few scenes at the begining: Dinner...

No offense intended. Although I don't really think that was that bad. That would most likely be over any kids heads anyway. Unless they are in public school.

But as I said, no offense intended.

The dvds aren't available in the UK? Wow, most of the shows I have found myself waiting to come out the past few years were released in the UK long before the US. Of course a lot of those were owned by Universal. they had this weird over seas contract and waited to release in the US I'm told. Biscui...

Mr. Littwack, Not trying to rain on your memory trip, but just a minor correction to maintain factual reality. The four (4) promotional hand puppets with records and attachments were distributed by "Burger King". You're right. My mistake. I was only 6 or 7 at the time. Memory is a lttile ...
