Re: alf movie any updates on how it is going!

Doesn't sound like any shooting as yet

If this goes ahead it's a shame its CGI. Muppets Most Wanted proved that you can still do great stuff with old school puppetry

Re: What will ALF`s new adventure be in this movie?

Its sounding a lot like a reboot of the sitcom

do we know this is definitely going ahead for 2014? I think we would have heard more by now, CGI especially takes a long time.

Re: Focus Group (with table read of pilot) for ALF Reboot in

If this is legit, and it sounds it - its probably been decided the movie won't be going ahead for whatever reason.

It sounds very interesting and could be great - though just not sure anyone, no matter how talented, could match the magic of the original - TV gold - and it would always be compared.

Re: ALF movie got the Green light!

In the tv series, ALF is either standing behind an object or he is shot from the chest up. It would be great to see a fully mobile character without the restrictions of how he must be shot. This also doesn't mean the ALF puppet will be going away anytime soon as stated in other posts. I wouldn't be...

Always wondered how they did the pan shot at 6:41 in Project ALF. Whether that's just had a join removed or there was any cgi work.

Re: 'ALF' Movie Lands at Sony Animation With 'Smurfs' Produc

I really hope you guys are right but the impression i got at least from how the article was written by saying CGI /Live Action was that ALF would be CGI and he'd interact with live action humans. It is Sony, it's a big director ... sounds like they are taking him down the family/kid route, maybe eve...

TMZ Has Been ALF'D!

Check out www.TMZ.com as part of the advertising for ALF week on The Hub.

The site has an ALF wrapper. There is a large pop up ALF that takes over the whole page, and ALF has recorded a video referencing TMZ and Harvey.

This is huge, millions of people will see ALF

Re: Alf set picture?

Wow, I cant' believe it. I just googled around a bit and I did indeed find a picture of Alf being held under one of the 14 trap doors. I won't ruin it anymore for anyone unless they want me to send them the link. I respect anyone who does not want to see Alf in this state. I think you found a scree...

Quality isn't the greatest, but it is still a great watch. I also could not upload it to YouTube...not sure why yet. Enjoy!
Cool! I think Youtube/NBC blocks it maybe

Re: CGI ALF

What if Fusco could use a motion-capturing puppet to record the animations? It'd be a lot closer to the real thing than outsourcing it to some animation studio. Why bother doing Motion Capture Digital Puppet Manipulation when he can just do the real thing. Fusco is a traditional puppet guy, big fan...

Re: Do you consider The Animated Series canon?

I do. Why? Because there is no reason not to. If they ever make that new ALF movie that takes place before the TV series and something in it contradicts stuff in the Animated series, then I may not consider it canon anymore. But I'm assuming the new movie (if it ever gets made) will probably take p...

I'm right with ya, some classic episodes and lines g...
