ok, none of that made any sense, so i'm not even gonna bother going there. We're here to talk about ALF plain and simple. Talking about other shows, I can understand you stepping in. But as long as we're talking about the show, nothing else should matter. I take back what I said about this forum bei...

I think if Alf had adventures outside the house, it would have ruined the show. Unless it was something like him sneaking out to Neal's house, or driving the ferrari in season 2, or the old folks home, etc. What made it funny was, IS HE GONNA GET CAUGHT? But thankfully he never did.

sorry, I guess I let it get out of hand.

I think we're done with this topic anyway.

I have a tendency to ramble at times, and this is living proof lol

yeah, tv execs sometimes have no clue what's good. They think with their pocketbook. I think the show could have went for way more seasons than just 4. As long as they never forgot their roots. What made the show funny was the interaction between Alf and the Tanners, and the difference in lifestyles...

yeah i know what ya mean. I guess I'm just picky when it comes to these things. I just like to watch something through as a story, and not have to worry about going back and forth to figure something out. To me it's all about the story because Dukes doesn't really tell a story. It's pretty much the s...

yeah they were in the proper order according to airdate, but isn't the proper order, storywise. Know what I mean? they were filmed in a certain order, like say they filmed x amount of episodes with the car, and x amount with the jeep. They went and jumbled em all around during that season, so you ge...

Well I think the reason they don't add any special features is because they don't have any. Universal spends so much money on music rights for shows like Miami Vice, that I think they'll only invest more money into it if it sells well. So I think in the future if these shows sell they'll have some o...

okay, I understand, but still what an ending man! even for a season finale instead of a series finale, it's pretty crappy. I mean the way they ended it, season 5 would have probably sucked I think, because you change the whole setting, and storyline by ending it that way,and they would probably have ...

not a problem about the text line. I think I should have noticed if it was there, but since it wasn't, I guess I didn't miss it. but anyway I tried not to get teary eyed, but during the whole scene at the table, It was a little sad. I guess I just like the Alf character too much, and relate to him t...

Weird! I thought when they cancel a show, they know like months ahead of time, or at least a few weeks before they shoot the last episode so that they can write a finale or whatever. But I guess back in the 80s they didn't do that. Dukes Of Hazzard didn't have a final episode, it was just a regular ...

really? I didn't notice that. I'll have to go back and see about that. It really does suck that the show ended so soon because I thought they were finally getting into a groove and the show was starting to get somewhere. I found it was getting funnier as it went. I do miss the days of Jake (Season 3...

I agree. I mean Alf to a lot of people might seem cheesy, but I watched it when I was a kid,and still has the same appeal today as it did back then. I still crack up at his jokes, and the show doesn't seem dated at all. I'm a member of a few different forums such as The Dukes Of Hazzard, A-Team, Mia...

Oh ok, that still ain't bad then. I just hope it eliminates the duplicate Episodes. That part was annoying. I don't care if they leave in Mind Games because it is in the set originally, but I hope they take out those duplicates. I mean they're on disc 4, so why put em on disc 3 again? pretty stupid....

I don't blame ya one bit. I didn't wanna watch the last episode either because it is sad! And I heard that the episode was a lousy one at that because of how it ended. But out of curiousity I watched it last night, and liked it right up until the end. The end is very disappointing. Project Alf had a ...

Consider Me Gone

I just watched the final episode last night for the first time. I'd probably seen pretty much every episode in it's original run, but I don't remember seeing the final episode. I liked it right up until the end, I was getting teary eyed, but they ruined it with the ending man! I already knew how it ...

I'm definitely excited now. I'll have to give away that copy that I bought, unless they just send replacement discs. I'll see in a few weeks or so what they decide to do, whether they send a whole new package, or just the discs. I'm definitely glad I emailed them now though. I wasn't going to do it ...

Oh I totally agree. I love Universal's boxed sets. I have The A-Team, Airwolf,Miami Vice and Magnum P.I. and they were done great. Only complaint I have is the picture and sound aren't the best, but are still better than watching em on tv. I do wanna get Quantum Leap. That was an awesome show. I'm h...
