Re: HELP ! WHERE ARE THE MODS ?!

I checked in here last night and it wouldn't let me into the forum...but it was for the better, since I checked back in later and all the spam was cleaned up. I must've first came in when the update was going on. Anyways, thanks for doing all that - I'm sure it was a lot to deal with.

...and ...

Re: HELP ! WHERE ARE THE MODS ?!

I'm assuming one of the mods (possibly admin) runs the facebook page, which has been updated in the past month. Aside from that, I do find it strange that at least one of them hasn't checked in lately.

Re: Happy Together

Interesting take! Personally, I think Jim J. Bullock was brought onto the show in the first place because he was able to play a character that was similar to Willie, since Max Wright didn't necessarily want to continue the show past the fourth season. I guess they thought they could "replace" (in ...

Re: “Look it up!”

Welcome to the forum! "Look it up" wasn't a catchphrase, but it was a line in the episode "On the Road Again". It's during the part where ALF is in the cabin with the hunters. The line is repeated quite a few times, but I think ALF only says it once. Hope this helps! :D

Re: Alf in new Maximum Effort Commericals

Roughly a year and a half later, and it looks like we may be getting another batch of commercials!

A picture has been released on X/Twitter by an account named Alex Tran (not sure if he works on these commercials in the crew or not), depicting Ryan Reynolds, Paul Fusco, and the ole' ALFer himself ...

Re: What's NEW in your collection?

I've heard NECA tends to not be great at customer service. Back in the summer, I pre-ordered both the Comic Con exclusive and the presidential election shirt. The shirt came way earlier than the action figure, for some reason. I hope your e-mail is read and you get your shirt.

The other day I ...

Re: #16/17: Try to Remember (Parts 1 & 2)

Finally! A real poster! Welcome to the forum! :D

I believe the reason that the memories in the episode haven't happened in the series yet is because of production order. However, looking at the production code numbers, it appears that "Try To Remember" was 23rd in production order, while "La ...

Re: Recent Spam Problem

Agreed. It's become frustrating that, for a little bit of time, there was a resurgence on this forum of actual posts, but now it's all just spam. I check the forum every day, and every time I see a new spam thread on the active topics. There's got to be a way to stop it.

However, this is completely ...

I'm glad that the recommendation wasn't too bad! From the description of the show, the husband does seem like he would be played by Norm McDonald. I might try watching it sometime.

Re: TV shows with a character that`s a pupp..

Well, I had to bushwhack my way through the spam overload to get to this post, but I got here. I know of a show called Unhappily Ever After that has a non-human in it. I've never watched this show, and a quick google search tells me it's not streaming anywhere. However, I looked it up on YouTube and ...

Re: What's NEW in your collection?

Yep. Because of the holiday today, I had some time to clear a space right beside the lunch box that came with the deluxe set that came out last year. They look pretty nice together, I’ll say.

Found this 1987 lunchbox and thermos during a recent trip to an antique shop. It was a pretty decent deal for $15.

I wrote to him in 2023 using the last mentioned address in the thread AlfAlfa_26 posted, so I assume that it's still up to date. Good luck if you do decide to write to him!

Re: What's NEW in your collection?

I’ve been quite busy lately and haven’t had time to hunt for merch in antique shops, but recently a family member of mine found a TV dinner tray at a yard sale. It’s pretty nice, but a little rusted. Still trying to find a place for it in my collection, though. I’ve got limited space, so it’s kind ...

Re: What's NEW in your collection?

An ALF cake server sounds pretty awesome. A few of the items you've collected are pretty rare, too. I've never found anything extremely rare in my collecting, but I usually just look in antique shops and thrift stores, so rare stuff most likely wouldn't be there. I think the "rarest" thing I've ever ...

Re: What's NEW in your collection?

Cool! I've never heard of an ALF carpet, so I'm curious as to what it looks like. Also, those telephone cards are pretty awesome.

Recently I went to a thrift store and acquired two of the animated series figures, the two being Rick Fusterman and Curtis Shumway. I already had the Augie Shumway ...
